Do workers have a fundamental right to form unions and go on strike? they were not allowed to go on strike but they did anyways. Until they unfortunately got sent back to work.
Why did union membership plummet in the 1920's? Because most immigrants were willing to work in poor conditions.
Were workers treated fairly during the 1920's? No they were not they were forced to work. Most immigrants were willing to work all day.
If you were a labor union leader, woud you have done anything differently? Yes I would have had everytin planned and made sure all the workers had good reasons to leave work but most of them did.
